Wreaths Across America 2018

October 24th, 2018 by

Sunday, Decemeber 10th was a very special day here in Bangor, Maine. The 2018 Wreaths Across America trek to Arlington National Cemetary and beyond began with an emotional, inspiring stop here at Quirk Auto Group’s Chevrolet Bangor.

We would like to give a very special thank you to Gold Star Mom Lorna Harris for sharing her heartfelt story about her son, specialist Dustin Jay Harris.

All of us at Quirk say thank you to to our customers, suppliers, local businesses who donated, state, sherriff and local police, firefighters, local citizens and young men and women from many of our local high schools, for taking the time to honor our fallen soldiers, police and firefighters.

It took a tremendous amount of work and effort from many people, from many organizations as well as volunteers to make this event a success.
