The Subaru franchise is awarded and named Village Subaru with 8 employees.
Located at 44 Griffin Rd.
Purchased 7 acres of land and constructed a new energy-efficient facility at 295 Hogan Rd., Bangor, for the Subaru dealership.
The AMC franchise is awarded and named Village AMC located at 44 Griffin Rd., Bangor.
Village at The Mall is established at the Bangor Mall
Cars By Us is created at 44 Griffin Rd. The AMC franchise is sold to Beacon Motors.
Purchased Bean & Conquest Chevrolet located at 44 Summer St., Bangor.
Purchased facility and 3 acres of land at 307 Hogan Rd., adjacent to Village Subaru. The Hyundai & Mitsubishi franchises are awarded and located on the property.
NASCAR GM Goodwrench Pro Shop distributorship is established.
The Saturn franchise is awarded. New building is constructed next to the Hyundai & Mitsubishi location at 327 Hogan Rd.
The Mercedes-Benz franchise is awarded and located at 307 Hogan Rd.
Dale Earnhardt, NASCAR driver, makes his first appearance in Maine at Bean & Conquest Chevrolet.
The SAAB franchise is awarded and located at 307 Hogan Rd.
New construction starts for the Chevrolet franchise located at 293 Hogan Rd. QuirkAuto.com is initiated.
Purchased Beacon Motors which included the Cadillac, Oldsmobile and Jeep franchises. The Cadillac and Oldsmobile franchises are located at 293 Hogan Rd., along with Chevrolet in the new facility. Quirk Auto Park is created. All eight franchises are branded under the Quirk Family name. Dale Earnhardt is invited back for the Grand Opening.
Ricky Craven, NASCAR driver, is honored at Quirk Chevrolet.
Purchased 162 Haskell Rd. from Berlin City. The Hyundai & Mitsubishi franchises are relocated. Tony Stewart, NASCAR driver, is invited to Quirk Chevrolet.

Purchased Bangor Chrysler & Dodge, located Motor City and Created Quirk Insurance, located at 327 Hogan Rd., Bangor. Kevin Harvick, NASCAR driver, invited to Quirk Chevrolet in Portland and won the Oxford Plains 250 in a car sponsored by Quirk Chevrolet/Motor City.

Quirk Auto Glass was created, located at Hogan Rd., Bangor. The Mercedes-Benz franchise is relocated to its new facility at 327 Hogan Rd.
Purchased CarQuest Auto Parts stores in Belfast, Rockport & Rockland from the Knox Brothers.
The Alfa Romeo franchise was awarded and located at 4 Rand Rd., Portland. Awarded the WeatherGuard distributorship.
