Quirk Auto Group is proud to continue its commitment to supporting Maine communities through local partnerships that make a real impact. This month, our Quirk Ford of Augusta team came together with employees, guests, and loyal customers to collect and donate more than 766 pounds of food to the Augusta Food Bank. Every can, box, and bag contributed helps feed local families and strengthens the fabric of our community.
Serving the greater Augusta area since 1981, the Augusta Food Bank provides nutritious food and essential items to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. The organization partners with local grocers, schools, and volunteers to deliver thousands of meals each year — ensuring that no neighbor goes hungry. In 2023 alone, they distributed over half a million pounds of food to residents in need, a powerful testament to what community compassion can achieve.
Food donations like this help sustain the Food Bank’s critical mission, especially as more Mainers face rising costs of living and food shortages. Each contribution from our Quirk team and customers directly supports those who rely on the Augusta Food Bank’s services, from children and seniors to working families navigating difficult times.
