• 🧾 Point-of-sale still applies until the sunset: dealers submit an IRS time-of-sale report (generally within 3 calendar days) so the credit can be applied at checkout.
• 📉 After Sept 30: federal purchase incentives stop under current law. State/local programs may continue separately.
