Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowling in Bangor

At Quirk Chevrolet in Bangor, community involvement isn’t just a commitment; it’s a way of life. That’s why we were honored to stand behind the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mid-Maine “Bowl For Kids Sake” event, held at the Family Fun Bowling Center in Bangor on April 3rd.

“Bowl for Kids’ Sake” isn’t just any event—it’s the largest fundraising initiative of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters Mid-Maine. This event plays a crucial role in supporting over 430 Bigs and Littles across Androscoggin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot, Somerset, and Waldo Counties. The funds raised during this event go directly toward matching Bigs and Littles, ensuring child safety, funding healthy activities and snacks, and providing professional support to help cultivate and maintain enduring relationships.

For us at Quirk Chevrolet, supporting “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” was about more than just sponsoring an event—it was about making a tangible difference in the lives of local youth. By participating in this event, we were able to contribute to a cause that empowers young individuals and fosters positive connections within our community.

We believe in the power of mentorship and the profound impact it can have on shaping the future. That’s why we wholeheartedly support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters Mid-Maine and their dedication to igniting the potential within every child.

Thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters Mid-Maine for organizing such a meaningful event, and to all who participated and supported this worthy cause. Together, we’re changing lives one bowl at a time.
